Lutheran Senior Services is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator Near St. Louis, MO

Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator is part of Lutheran Senior Services’ Marketing and Communications department and works across various LSS departments and services lines; Often the first point of contact for marketing projects, they are integral in supporting and coordinating key tactics and initiatives for LSS.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills, organization and project management skills, the ability to work across teams with interpersonal communication, as well as a solid understanding of the marketing funnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Team Support:

  • Writes and edits content for marketing collateral and digital use
  • Secures contracts, places print advertisements, and coordinates with external vendors to supply needed materials before due dates
  • Attends, and at times leads, meetings, creating action items and next steps and relaying important information back to team members as needed
  • Processes invoices for prompt and correct payment
  • Compiles reports as needed to showcase key performance indicators (KPI’s)

Event Coordination:

  • Working with various department and team members to create memorable and impactful events that celebrate and acknowledge significant milestones or projects across the organization (Groundbreakings, grand openings, dedication events, etc.)
  • Includes working alongside the internal MARCOM team as well as various departments and locations for the preparation, planning, benchmarking, and execution of events
  • Proactively confirming details for upcoming events and supporting pieces. Maintaining overall Event Calendar for marketing events

Project Coordination:

  • Monitoring new and incoming requests in Project Software to review for completeness, ensuring all pertinent project details are all included; Responds with acceptance or request for more information within 24 hours
  • Consulting with Requester on appropriateness and standard timelines, making Creative Team aware of any rushes/time constraints, and bringing to attention any jobs that require further consultation
  • Tracking projects and schedules to ensure timely completion and communicates pending delivery information to marketing team requester/client

User Support:

  • Working with teams across LSS to provide support as a liaison between the departments, elevating needs and providing support to questions and requests

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • High School diploma (or GED) required; Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing preferred
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize using effective interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems preferred
  • Microsoft suite proficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
